Hey, it’s me, Crystal! I hope you’re doing great. I wanted to chat with you about all the exciting things that have been happening on my podcast, Crystal Uncorked. From personal revelations about conquering fear to discovering the importance of urgency and juggling multiple passions, we’ve been on quite a journey!

I had a little break from the podcast for a while, but now I’m back and filled with renewed energy! And trust me, it’s been a whirlwind. Not only did I celebrate my business’ best Q2 ever, but I also successfully launched my first conference and even started a new podcast called “Rooted in Retail“.

Since I returned to Crystal Uncorked, I decided to shake things up a bit. I realized that not every episode requires wine, and I opted to simplify the show’s format. Plus, I chose to run the show independently, which has been challenging, but very rewarding ride.

In my journey, I found a great deal of inspiration from the incredible Gary Vaynerchuk. Gary’s authenticity and profound connection with his audience struck a chord with me. His inspiring VeeCon conference was a real eye-opener and pushed me to share my own experiences with fear, the need for urgency, and the liberating concept of being multi-passionate.

Some Important Insights I’ve Gained:

I’ve learned that breaking free from procrastination and resistance is a crucial part of reaching our dreams. And believe me, I’ve had my fair share of these struggles, especially when creating content.
Fear is another thing that often gets in our way. I’m not going to sugarcoat it – fear stopped me from starting this podcast for years. But I’ve found that we must face our fears head-on and move forward.
I’ve realized that acting quickly is crucial. We shouldn’t let fear or hesitation steal our opportunities.
Consistency and commitment have been the keys to my journey. My two-year commitment to this podcast taught me that we need to keep showing up to see growth and success.
Lastly, I discovered the value of setting SMART goals – Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timed – to keep track of our progress effectively.

So, What Should We Do Next?

I encourage all of us to take the same steps. Identify those goals you’ve been procrastinating on and break them into manageable tasks.
Let’s not let fear stop us. Dive in and get started on those tasks.
We should stay consistent and avoid taking unnecessary breaks.
Commit to a SMART goal for your tasks or projects and stick to it until you hit your target!

In a special moment during the VeeCon conference, I had the chance to listen to Drew Barrymore. Her passionate talk about staying true to yourself and not limiting your passions resonated with me deeply.

This is what I want for all of us. Let’s not confine ourselves to one area but explore and develop our various interests and talents. This belief led me to create Crystal Uncorked, a show vastly different from my social media company, Crystal Media.

As we eagerly wait for the next episode, “Why Not Me?”, I leave you with this thought: hold on to your dreams, no matter how diverse they may be.
