Wine Recommendation from this Episode: Fog and Land Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

If you’ve been listening to the show, you know Dustin and I have a lot going on. Our move to Colorado has been moved from originally February 2022 to October 2021, just a few weeks from when this episode airs. Amid all the normal business of business and the typical moving stresses, we have a big decision to make. This is a decision that has really been affecting me lately and I think even hurting other decisions and to-do lists in my life.

Yesterday, my body just told me to stop. I pushed the pause button on everything we have going on and relaxed, napped, and rested. I am feeling the effects of that today because I have been the most productive I have in a while; I’ve finished my lists and more. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed and tired, listen to your body, take that rest because it is usually what we need to be our best self and show up.

Even though I’m rested and I’m feeling better, that big decision is still hanging over my head. Dustin and I are really struggling with what to do with our California house. We bought a house in Colorado, and we don’t know if we should sell, rent, or VRBO our house in Oceanside. We are thinking each option out and there are just so many variables and outcomes; I am at a standstill. Regardless, I need to decide, we need to decide. I am hoping that this can help some of my listeners make some of their big decisions too.

Through my search on how to cure indecisiveness; here are some of the top tips on how to be more decisive:

  • Eliminate all options.
  • Embrace uncertainty wholeheartedly.
  • Get clarity on priorities.
  • Overcome perfectionism.
  • Let go of your need for control.
  • Stop asking for reassurance.
  • Tackle decision fatigue.

Going through all of these tips has helped me see the barriers holding me back from making our decision. Some of the tips I have really been able to put into action and narrow down our choices, and others I now know what I need to do to get closer to that final decision. In my research, I read that inaction causes more damage, and you increase your chances of failing by not deciding. I know I’ll be ready to decide soon and if you are working on making a big decision too, hopefully, these tips can give you direction as well. If you have some special tips or secrets on how you make your decisions, send me a DM or email. I can’t wait to hear from you!

What’s Inside:

  • What to do when you’re indecisive.
  • Life advice for making choices.
  • Knowing when to trust yourself and trust your choices.
